Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sidney Pollard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and ZibZib Rose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pollard dives in and scores a takedown into Rose's guard.
Pollard is pushing down on Rose's leg trying to pass to half guard. Rose is fighting to maintain full guard but Pollard has managed to sneak the leg through.
Rose gets back to full guard.
Rose tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Rose is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Pollard defends well.
Rose looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Rose should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Rose looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Pollard got a little sloppy there for a moment and Rose has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Pollard has managed to get both his arms back between Rose's legs - danger averted.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Pollard had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Rose defends it easily.

Pollard has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Rose trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Pollard manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rose manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Pollard manages to get himself to full guard.

Rose is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Rose pushes a forearm under Pollard's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Pollard is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
