The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

so Gentry counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Gentry decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Will drives through with a takedown into Gentry's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Gentry has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Will is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Will is fighting to break Gentry's control of his arms but Gentry is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Will is looking to pass into half guard but Gentry pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Gentry is in guard.

Gentry decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Will, up you get!

Gentry closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Will did well to prevent Gentry getting side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Will has hold of Gentry's hands but Gentry slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Gentry maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Will could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Gentry has cracked it and Will is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Gentry!
