Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lewis McMurray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Farofa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 27 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Carlos Farofa!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Gwen Towbar and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McMurray throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
McMurray misses with an uppercut.
Farofa misses with a series of wild punches.
Farofa fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
McMurray throws a quick inside leg kick.
McMurray scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Farofa has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from McMurray finds it's way round the side to connect with Farofa's head.

McMurray rushes Farofa and presses him up against the cage.
McMurray scores with an uppercut up the middle.
McMurray on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
McMurray controlling the action here for a moment.

McMurray breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

McMurray takes the fight into the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
McMurray scores a nice knee to the body.
McMurray lands a hook to the side of the head.
McMurray lands a body shot in the clinch.
Farofa looks winded!
A short body shot lands from McMurray as the two fighters clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, McMurray creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
McMurray is working Farofa over against the cage.

McMurray's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Farofa wants to clinch but McMurray slips to the side

and McMurray decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Farofa's guard.
McMurray controlling from the top position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
McMurray makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
McMurray is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Farofa keeping moving, preventing McMurray from controlling successfully.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells McMurray's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
McMurray content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
McMurray lands a couple of digs.
McMurray loads up on a big left hand. Farofa felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - McMurray looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Farofa can't hide his disappointment, as McMurray celebrates the victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lewis McMurray!
Our winner, Lewis McMurray, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
