Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pablo Escobarre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Simon Sussman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Escobarre kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Xzibit- Alcoholic . Simon Sussman has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Simon Sussman!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Daniel Bishop and James Atkins.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sussman on the wrong end of a nice jab.

It looks like Simon Sussman has been cut.
Sussman tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Escobarre changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sussman tries to strike but it doesn't land.

Escobarre has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Sussman throws a right hand that misses
enabling Escobarre to counter with a crisp jab.
Sussman lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Sussman is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Escobarre moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Pablo Escobarre!
After winning the bout, Pablo Escobarre thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
