The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yemelyanenko shoots in looking for a takedown. Hammerlik tries to sprawl out of it but Yemelyanenko keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hammerlik manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Hammerlik gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Hammerlik is looking to stand up but Yemelyanenko isn't so interested in that idea.

Hammerlik uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Yemelyanenko lands a front kick.
Yemelyanenko throws a series of punches but Hammerlik avoids them all with ease.
Yemelyanenko misses with a series of wild punches.
A punch lands to the side of Hammerlik 's head but he takes it in his stride.

It looks like Neik Hammerlik has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Yemelyanenko throws out a leg kick but Hammerlik moves out of range and Yemelyanenko only half commits.
Yemelyanenko should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Yemelyanenko throws a push kick but Hammerlik slaps the foot to one side.

Yemelyanenko looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Yemelyanenko closes the distance and clinches up with Hammerlik, looking for a takedown. Yemelyanenko pushes Hammerlik against the cage but Hammerlik circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Neik Hammerlik has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fyodor Yemelyanenko.
Hammerlik lands with a shot to the body.
Hammerlik seems to be stalking Yemelyanenko here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Yemelyanenko drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!
