Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jon Askren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Angel Face (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Face has chosen Tyga - Real Deal as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Jon Askren could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Angel Face's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Angel Face!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Daniel Bishop and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Askren ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
A jab from Face misses.
Askren with a lazy takedown attempt
and Face counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Askren fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Face sprawls well initially but Askren persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Askren is looking to advance position but Face won't allow it.
Askren keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Face blocking the ground and pound attempt from Askren.
Face is trying to stand back up but Askren is controlling him
Askren trying to control from half guard but Face is working away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Askren thows a huge punch but Face dodges it nicely.
Askren has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Face avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Askren.
Face is trying to stand.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Askren wants to take a breather but Face is having none of it.
Face keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Askren lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Face is trying to stand back up but Askren is controlling him
Askren looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Askren lands strikes from half guard.
Askren winds up and cracks Face with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Askren not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Face has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Askren is working away from the top position though.
Askren is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Askren landing strikes from the mount and Face is in trouble!
Askren lands a nice shot to the head.
Face is rocked!
The referee warns Face that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Face is still in real trouble! Can Askren finish him?
Askren postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Face bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Askren and the fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jon Askren!
After winning the bout, Jon Askren thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
