The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sandow showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Suleijmani.
Suleijmani pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Sandow back to the cage. Suleijmani follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

It looks like Damien Sandow has been cut.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sandow.
Suleijmani misses with a series of wild punches.
No joy there for Suleijmani, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Suleijmani scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Nice defenses there by Sandow.
As Suleijmani backs off Sandow throws a huge counter combo but Suleijmani manages to avoid it all.
Sandow avoids the body shot from Suleijmani.
Sandow shoots in for a takedown but Suleijmani shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Suleijmani thows a left - swing and a miss!
Sandow throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Suleijmani's waist but Suleijmani gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sandow off to one side.
Qasem Suleijmani has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Damien Sandow.
The crowd cheers as Suleijmani lands an impressive looking overhand right. Sandow doesn't seem phased though.
Sandow looks for a takedown but Suleijmani sprawls well.
Suleijmani defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Sandow.
Suleijmani comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Suleijmani throws an overhand right that lands on Sandow's shoulder, as Sandow tries to avoid the shot.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sandow goes for a double leg but Suleijmani avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Suleijmani continues to drive forward.
Sandow looks winded!
Sandow throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Qasem Suleijmani is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Suleijmani tries to bum rush Sandow with a series of wild strikes but Sandow uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Qasem Suleijmani seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sandow with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Suleijmani to score with a decent uppercut.

Sandow is rocked!

That has opened up Damien Sandow's cut even more.
Suleijmani will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Sandow is still on wobbly legs! Can Suleijmani finish him?
Suleijmani connects with a stiff jab that staggers Sandow - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
