The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Insignia darts in and clinches Holta up against the cage.
Insignia wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Holta is fighting off a takedown attempt but Insignia is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Holta to the mat. Holta regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Holta wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Insignia manages to pass to side control.
Insignia is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Holta is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Insignia scores with a couple of nice shots.
Insignia takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Insignia closes the distance and clinches.
Holta prevents a takedown attempt there.
Insignia wants to get back to striking at distance but Holta won't allow it.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Insignia has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Holta is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

That's time! Holta's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Holta has hold of Insignia's hands but Insignia slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
