Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Wagner Maia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Royce Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Wagner Maia has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Gracie avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Gracie should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Gracie scores with a takedown into Maia's guard.
Gracie stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Maia swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Gracie drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gracie jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Maia managing to control the position.

Gracie drops back looking for a leg! Maia is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Maia manages to kick Gracie off! Gracie jumps back into Maia's guard.

Gracie drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Maia dives on top into guard.
Maia has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Gracie looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Gracie looks gassed!

Maia trying to control the position from guard on top but Gracie is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Gracie had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Maia is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Gracie Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Maia's back instead.
Maia looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands.
Maia can't escape the position.

Gracie is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Maia with him. Maia is trying to defend but Gracie has an arm under the chin now! Maia grimaces and is forced to tap out!
