Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Pootie Tang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ginaldo Madrigal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tang comes to the cage accompanied by Pootie Tang. Pootie Tang has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tang tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Madrigal swivels and escapes.

Madrigal clinches.
Tang is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Madrigal is defending well.

Madrigal misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Tang.

Madrigal lands a left and a right that send Tang crashing to the mat, dazed. Madrigal thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Tang is rocked!

It looks like Pootie Tang has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Madrigal counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Tang shoots in but Madrigal avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Tang closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Madrigal's guard.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Madrigal manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Tang wants to take the fight to the mat but Madrigal manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

As Madrigal tries to get set, Tang tries to push him back and clinch up but Madrigal manages to avoid the attempt.
Madrigal shoots in for a takedown but Tang shows good takedown defense.

Madrigal tries to sprawl but Tang drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Tang uses his free foot to push down on Madrigal's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Madrigal.
