The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wood slaps away a takedown attempt from Nielsen, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Nielsen buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Nielsen tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Wood throws a pinpoint strike between Nielsen's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Nielsen crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Wood scores a great knockout victory!

After the fight, Scott Wood was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
