The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Seery, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Seery swings and misses with a hook to the body.
And McPharson tries to counter it with a takedown but Seery pushes his down on his head and steps out.

McPharson forces Seery back against the cage and clinches.
McPharson blocks a body shot from Seery.
McPharson's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
McPharson tries to work over Seery's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
McPharson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Seery walks away with a smile on his face. McPharson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
McPharson takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Patrick Seery seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from McPharson.
Seery scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Seery lands a nice hook to McPharson's body. McPharson takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Seery lands a jab to the head.
Seery sizes up McPharson with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Seery throws a series of punches but McPharson avoids them all with ease.
Seery lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Seery.

McPharson is rocked!
McPharson tries to bum rush Seery with a series of wild strikes but Seery uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Seery takes a swing at McPharson's ribcage but misses.
Seery will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
McPharson unleashes a big counter combination but Seery bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Seery misses with a series of wild punches.
Seery lands with an uppercut that bounces McPharson off the cage and back into range.

Seery cracks McPharson with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Seery has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning McPharson to stand back up!
McPharson is still on wobbly legs! Can Seery finish him?
McPharson dodges the punch combination from Seery.
Seery is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

McPharson rushes Seery and presses him up against the cage.

McPharson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Seery fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. McPharson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
McPharson takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Oooooh!!! Seery has knocked McPharson down with a huge combo! Seery steps away and waves a wobbly McPharson back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Seery throws a body shot but no joy.
Seery fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Seery weaves into range and cracks McPharson right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! McPharson goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Seery is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
