The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hays scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Stewart explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!

Hays gets tackled into the cage by Stewart. Stewart maintains the clinch.
Stewart lands a nice uppercut.
Stewart misses with a knee strike.

Hays decides to pull guard.

Hays looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Stewart passes into half guard.

Stewart stands up out of the half guard.

Stewart has Hays up against the cage in a clinch.

Stewart prevents a takedown attempt there.
