Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pekka Pyy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joseph Wright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Joseph Wright was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pyy misses with a series of wild punches.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Wright! But no joy.
Pyy throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Wright scores with a jab to the jaw.
Wright looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Pyy has taken the fight to the clinch.
Pyy tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Wright's elbow.

Wright breaks from the clinch.
Wright misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Pyy blocks a body shot from Wright.
Pyy lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Wright has had enough of the clinch but Pyy keeps him there for the moment.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Pyy creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Pyy lands a right hand that snaps the head of Wright backwards.
