Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between brock goodrum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dorian Freeman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think goodrum might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to riot by three days grace. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Dorian Freeman was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
goodrum shoots in but no luck this time.
Freeman throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

It looks like brock goodrum has been cut.

Freeman lands a head kick that stumbles goodrum and the fighters go to the mat.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Freeman wanted to stand there but goodrum had control of the position.

goodrum has his foot on Freeman's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Freeman works his way back into a safe position though.

Freeman wants to control from the top but goodrum keeps moving.
goodrum will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Freeman wants to get up but he can't break goodrum's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Freeman throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Freeman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with goodrum. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

goodrum is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Freeman defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

goodrum has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Freeman has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Freeman rushes goodrum and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
goodrum tries to pull guard but Freeman holds him up against the cage and eventually goodrum drops back down to his feet.

Freeman breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to brock goodrum.
