Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Count Chocula!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jim Dixon!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, David Hoff and Winston Alpacca.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chocula scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Dixon jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Chocula works Dixon's body with a nice hook.
Dixon throws a hook but Chocula avoids it easily.
Dixon uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Chocula.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Dixon! But no joy.
Dixon takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Chocula cracks a nice hook into Dixon's ribs.
Some wild striking there from Chocula.
Dixon throws out a counter right but Chocula avoids it with no problem.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The crowd cheers as Chocula lands an impressive looking overhand right. Dixon doesn't seem phased though.

Dixon rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Chocula counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Dixon thinking.
Chocula connects with a body shot.
Chocula lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Dixon swings widly with a right hand
and Chocula counters with a series of strikes. Dixon will be more careful next time no doubt.
Chocula throws a body shot but no joy.
Dixon takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Chocula's jab looks to have found its range, popping Dixon under the eye.

Chocula connects with a single shot there.
Chocula is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Chocula lands a nice shot that snaps Dixon's head back.
Chocula ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dixon moves away.
Chocula lands a jab to the head.
Chocula scores with a jab to the body.
Dixon gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Dixon throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Chocula swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Chocula throws a series of strikes that have Dixon backpedaling.
Dixon throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Chocula lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.


Dixon is rocked!
Chocula lands a nice shot to the body.
Chocula displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Dixon throws out the jab.
Dixon looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Dixon throws out a loose jab but Chocula uses good head movement to avoid it.
Chocula jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Chocula lands with a right hand.
Chocula looks to score with a jab to the body but Dixon is just out of range.
Dixon might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Chocula blocks a jab.
Chocula was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Dixon has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Chocula finds it's way round the side to connect with Dixon's head.
Dixon is still on wobbly legs! Can Chocula finish him?


It looks like Jim Dixon has been cut.
Dixon is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Dixon throws a hook but Chocula blocks it.
A decent looking cross lands there for Chocula.
BOOM! Chocula lands a beautiful left hook that drops Dixon. Dixon tries to recover but Chocula is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Dixon lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Count Chocula!
