Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gray Maddox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quico Matching (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gray Maddox looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matching shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Maddox eats them both and turns towards Matching to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

It looks like Gray Maddox has been cut.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Matching.
Maddox's coaches at Beast Playground have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.

The referee asks Matching politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Matching prefers to stall for the moment though.

Maddox jumps guard but Matching stands there with Maddox around his waist. Maddox gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Quico Matching is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Well Matching has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
