Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lance Duterte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sheamus Griffon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Duterte comes to the cage accompanied by im just a kid. Sheamus Griffon will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Duterte moves into range and clinches up with Griffon.
Griffon looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

It looks like Sheamus Griffon has been cut.

Duterte manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Griffon goes for a takedown attempt but Duterte pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Griffon blocks the body kick.
Griffon is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Griffon slaps away a takedown attempt from Duterte, before circling back to the center of the mat.
As Duterte backs off Griffon throws a huge counter combo but Duterte manages to avoid it all.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Duterte closes the distance and clinches.

Duterte escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Duterte fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Griffon avoids it really well and circles away.

Duterte looks to land a right hand but Griffon moved out of range.
Griffon lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Duterte tries a head kick but it misses.
Despite the aggression on Griffon's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Duterte tries for a kimura but Griffon is defending well.

Duterte stands up and we're back to a striking position.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Duterte will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Griffon up against the cage.

Sheamus Griffon's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
