The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hangover clinches up against the cage.

Pablo is looking to advance position but Hangover has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

Hangover stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Hangover keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Pablo.

Hangover looks for the body kick but Pablo saw that one coming.

Pablo changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hangover looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Pablo decides to stand up, so the ref orders Hangover to his feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Pablo works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Pablo decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Pablo bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Pablo has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Pablo tests Hangover's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Hangover tries to keep at a distance but Pablo has taken the fight into the clinch.

Hangover misses with a short punch on the inside.
Hangover prevents a takedown attempt there.
Hangover swings wildly with an uppercut but Pablo uses good head movement to avoid it.
Hangover tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Pablo pulls guard effortlessly.
Pablo is wriggling around but Hangover manages to pass to half guard.

Pablo has one foot on Hangover's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Pablo manages to break the clinch.
Hangover misses with the body kick

Hangover misses with a hook to the ribs.

Pablo pulls Hangover into guard.

Pablo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Hangover stands up and waves to Pablo to follow him.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

and Pablo counters with a nice low kick that buckles Hangover's knee momentarily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Juan Pablo dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

and Pablo counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Pablo.

Hangover wants to clinch but Pablo slips to the side

Hangover throws a front kick aimed at Pablo's knee but Pablo avoids it well.

Pablo decides to stand up, so the ref orders Hangover to his feet.
Pablo ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Pablo shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Pablo showed some decent athleticism there.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hangover pushes Pablo off but Pablo dives into side control.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hangover looks like he's trying to stand up.
Pablo is looking to stall here but Hangover recovers full guard.
Pablo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hangover. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Hangover kicks Pablo off and gets to his feet.

Pablo looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Pablo wants to take a breather but Hangover is having none of it.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Hangover is desperately trying to improve his position but Pablo has a good base and remains in mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Juan Pablo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Hangover stalks Pablo and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Pablo's face. Pablo staggers backwards, shaken.

and Pablo makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Hangover really felt that one!
Pablo scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Pablo lands a nice leg kick that just misses Hangover's sensitive parts.

Hangover wants to sweep but no luck.

Hangover had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Pablo is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Hangover Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Pablo's back instead.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

I really don't envy Pablo right now.
Hangover connects with a big shot to the side of Pablo's head.

Pablo manages to stand up with Hangover still on his back. Eventually Hangover drops to his feet and we're back in the standing position.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Well Pablo has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
