Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Peter Burns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Burns comes to the cage accompanied by Psycho Killer- Talking Heads. James Martin has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burns looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Martin is fending him off so far but Burns persists. Nope, Martin circles away and we're back to standing.
Jeez, both these guys look absolutely knackered already, that's not a good sign!

Burns tries to free his leg and advance position but Martin is retaining full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Martin really wants to buck Burns off and get back to his feet.
Burns cracks Martin with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Burns is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Martin is surviving well by controlling Burns's body position as best he can.

Martin throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Burns.
Burns shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Martin as he avoids it easily.
Martin shoots in and drives through. Burns sprawls well.
Burns throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Martin's waist but Martin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Burns off to one side.
