Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sydney Odom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kane Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Williams is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Kickstart My Heart by Mötley Crüe. Sydney Odom had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Williams tries to sprawl but Odom drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Williams fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Odom, pushing him back against the cage.
Williams lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Odom backwards.
Odom drops down looking for an ankle pick but Williams pulls his leg out and moves away.
Williams tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Odom defends well and Williams ends up having to push Odom into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Odom shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Williams defends it nicely.

Odom seems to be working for a kimura but Williams defends the submission attempt.

Williams throws a solid leg kick but Odom takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Williams.

Odom has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Odom goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Williams rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Odom's guard! Nice work there by Williams!
Williams stands and throws Odom's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Williams really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Odom. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Williams takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Odom wants to get back to his feet but Williams drags him back down.

Odom parries the strikes from Williams easily there. Williams is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Odom to escape.

Odom bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Williams throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Odom.
Odom appears to be looking for a big counter.
Odom displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Williams.
