Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Roberto Marcos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and VJ Lamban (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). VJ Lamban is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, VJ Lamban!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Santiago Holmes and Sandra Marshall.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marcos stuns Lamban with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Marcos shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Marcos was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Lamban tries to buck Marcos off but Marcos is having none of it.
Marcos is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Lamban's shoulder. That is not cool.
Lamban is looking for a sweep.

Marcos decides to stand up, so the ref orders Lamban to his feet.

Lamban looking to score a takedown here. Marcos is defending well but Lamban drives through and ends up in Marcos's guard.

Marcos pushes Lamban off and gets back to his feet.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Lamban gets tackled into the cage by Marcos. Marcos maintains the clinch.
Marcos stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Lamban takes an elbow to the temple.

Marcos works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Lamban is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Marcos is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Lamban has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Marcos is looking to defend but Lamban has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Marcos! Lamban pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Marcos taps out and this one is all over!
