Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Lacy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mat Kenny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Matti Vanhoillinen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kenny pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
A head kick by Lacy misses
and Kenny counters with a left to the body.
Kenny misses with a takedown attempt - Lacy sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Kenny.
Lacy tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Kenny is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Lacy has escaped the position, nice work there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kenny tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kenny has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Kenny goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Lacy has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Kenny but great work by Lacy.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Lacy changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kenny looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Kenny takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Kenny is defending against the submission attempts here by Lacy.
Lacy is taking a breather. Kenny says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Kenny. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Lacy tries to stand but can't do so whilst Kenny controls his leg.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kenny regains full guard. Nicely done.
Lacy content to stall in guard here.
Kenny looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Lacy has picked Kenny up and slammed him! Kenny can't keep hold of the triangle and Lacy manages to pass to side control!
Lacy is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Kenny is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Lacy content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

Kenny is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Lacy's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Kenny connects with a nice looking jab.
Kenny is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Kenny misses with an attempted mid kick.
Lacy closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Kenny to the mat! Kenny manages to get full guard.

Lacy slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Lacy rushes Kenny and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Kenny can't get the takedown.
With the fighters up against the cage, Lacy throws an elbow but misses.
A head punch on the inside from Lacy fails to land.
Kenny has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Lacy pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Lacy is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kenny is just riding it out for now. Lacy eventually gives up the hold.

Kenny is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Lacy pulls his head out easily.

Lacy is nestled in close to Kenny, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Kenny is looking for a sweep. Lacy is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Kenny makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Kenny.

Kenny is trying to hold Lacy in close to prevent damage but Lacy has managed to pass into half guard.
