Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between James Patterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drake Kartella (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Kartella's choice of entrance music: Gangsta's Paradise Remix. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kartella swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Patterson walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Kartella! Patterson is out on his feet! Kartella rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Patterson is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Patterson is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
