The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rebelo moves into range and clinches up with Diesel.

Rebelo digs a right hand into Diesel's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Diesel's gas tank.
Rebelo lands a left hand.
Rebelo doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Diesel is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Rebelo lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Rebelo digs a right hand underneath Diesel's ribcage. Diesel let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Diesel tries to pull guard but Rebelo holds him up against the cage and eventually Diesel drops back down to his feet.

Diesel misses with a takedown attempt - Rebelo sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Rebelo throws out a counter right but Diesel avoids it with no problem.

Rebelo takes the fight into the clinch.

Rebelo lands a right hand that snaps the head of Diesel backwards.

Diesel ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Diesel no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

and Rebelo makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Diesel doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Rebelo punishes Diesel's body with a nice straight punch.

Rebelo darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Rebelo clobbers Diesel with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Rebelo has closed the distance and engaged Diesel in a clinch.
Diesel really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Rebelo works on Diesel's body with a couple of short punches.

Rebelo pushes Diesel back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
