And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 32 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gonna Spanked!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Glass and James Ackerman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spanked swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Koira misses with the combination.

Spanked's coach down at Datsik's Dojo was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Spanked's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Spanked shoots in and gets a takedown into Koira's guard.
Koira is looking to stand back up but Spanked counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Koira.
Spanked scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Spanked thows a huge punch but Koira dodges it nicely.
Spanked passes the guard and advances to mount!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Koira tries to reverse the position but Spanked maintains control.

Koira tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Spanked lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Spanked lands a nice shot to the head.

It looks like Karri Koira has been cut.
Spanked is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Koira tries to reverse the position but Spanked maintains control.
Spanked is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Koira can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Koira's coaches at Woodhouse's have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.
Spanked takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Spanked postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Koira looks a forlorn figure.

Spanked is landing with some decent strikes but Koira is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Spanked unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Koira wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Spanked celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
