The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hammer fails with a takedown attempt.
The Bald Eagle stuffs the takedown.
Hammer shoots in but The Bald Eagle avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Jason The Bald Eagle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mark Hammer.

Hammer closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into The Bald Eagle's guard.

The Bald Eagle is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The Bald Eagle escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hammer gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Hammer works a leg free and moves into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hammer lands with a punch from half guard.
Hammer is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Hammer lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt The Bald Eagle quite badly. The Bald Eagle pulls Hammer in close trying to recover. Hammer postures up and lands two really hard shots that put The Bald Eagle on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but The Bald Eagle doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
