The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie fails with a takedown attempt.
A little feinted left hand from Karter on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Karter scores with a nice right hand.
Gracie tries to score a power double leg takedown but Karter sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gracie somewhat.
Karter wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
