Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Malcom Brennan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Ian Loll and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brennan looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Steez looking to score a takedown here. Brennan is defending well but Steez drives through and ends up in Brennan's guard.
Steez's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Steez wants to pass the guard but Brennan is keeping the position.
Steez working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Steez postures up in Brennan's guard and throws a big left but Brennan blocks it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brennan working for submissions but it's allowed Steez to get to half guard.
Brennan wants to stand back up but Steez manages to pass into side control.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Steez has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Brennan!
Poor strikes thrown by Steez there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Brennan is looking to get to half guard.
Steez misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Steez stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Brennan fails with a takedown attempt.
Steez swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

Steez closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Brennan blocks an elbow strike from Steez.
Steez stops a takedown attempt from Brennan.
Brennan is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Steez is defending well for now.
Steez gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Brennan regains guard.
Brennan pushes Steez off and gets back to his feet.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Steez drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Brennan is wriggling around but Steez manages to pass to half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Steez is taking a breather. Brennan says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Steez seems to be looking for submissions.

Steez changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Brennan looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Brennan is looking to get back to his feet here but Steez is keeping cool and he's managed to take Brennan's back.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

Brennan is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Will Steez go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
Brennan tries to roll but Steez sticks to his back.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Nice sprawl there from Steez as Brennan shoots in.

Steez jumps guard and drags Brennan to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Steez had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Brennan defends it easily.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Steez is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Brennan sees it coming and defends easily.
Steez is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Brennan is looking to improve his position.
Steez is looking to take a break and control but Brennan is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Steez is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Steez is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Super Steez showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Brennan is not content to let Steez control the position.
Brennan might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Steez drives through with a takedown into Brennan's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Brennan wants to get back to his feet but Steez passes into half guard.
Steez prevents Brennan from improving his position.

Brennan avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Steez.
Steez wants to work for an arm triangle but Brennan is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Brennan tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Steez has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Brennan could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Brennan is bucking up trying to escape but Steez cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Steez wants to control the pace but Brennan is squirming around nicely.
Steez takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Steez tries to control but Brennan wriggling away.
Super Steez is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Super Steez comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Steez has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
