The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Steve Montenegro and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Thorton.
Aldo with a jab.
Aldo misses with a series of wild punches.
Aldo swings for the body but Thorton moves out of range.
Thorton works over Aldo's head and body with a nice combination.
Thorton on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Aldo. Aldo obviously looking to wear him down.
Aldo lands a big right hand that sends Thorton crashing to the mat! Aldo stays standing though and waves Thorton back to his feet!
Thorton is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Aldo defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Thorton.
Oh Thorton is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Thorton has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Aldo.
Thorton is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Aldo just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Thorton has gone limp and this one is over!
