Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevaughn Aldridge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lamar Jonhson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aldridge comes to the cage accompanied by Smooth Criminal By Michael Jackson. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jonhson shoots in for a double leg but Aldridge sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Jonhson lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Aldridge at a distance.

Jonhson has Aldridge up against the cage in a clinch.
Jonhson tries a knee to the head but Aldridge blocks it.

A bit of stalling here from Aldridge.
Jonhson has Aldridge pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Aldridge manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Jonhson ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Jonhson no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Aldridge seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Jonhson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Jonhson is trying to pull guard but Aldridge has him pressed against the cage.

A kick lands to the mid section there for Aldridge.
Jonhson chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Aldridge can pounce on him.

Jonhson takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
