Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pereira defending well as De Fenix loads up on a big left hand.
The fighters circle momentarily. Pereira darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Pereira displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as De Fenix throws out the jab.
Pereira throws a jab when De Fenix was well out of range.
De Fenix misses with a looping right.
Pereira throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent De Fenix stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
De Fenix delivers a nice body kick.
De Fenix misses with a head kick.
Danga de danga de dang - Pereira scores with a four punch combination!
It looks like Ikki De Fenix has been cut.

De Fenix lands with a cross.
This has been an exciting period of action!
De Fenix jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Pereira stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
De Fenix closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Pereira misses with an uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A combination from De Fenix does no damage.
A left lands for Pereira.
Pereira throws an overhand right that lands on De Fenix's shoulder, as De Fenix tries to avoid the shot.
De Fenix misses with an uppercut
and Pereira counters with a huge left! De Fenix is in big trouble! He's backing up but Pereira isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save De Fenix from any more damage. A dominating finish by Pereira!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Miguel Pereira!
