The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Russell Pearce and Joseph Jones.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice combination there by Wright.
Tinkl dives in and grabs Wright's left leg, looking for a takedown. Wright pushes down on Tinkl's head and hops out.
Tinkl dodges the punch combination from Wright.
Wright lands the left hand.
Tinkl tries to clinch but Wright is having none of it.
Wright displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Tinkl.
It looked like Wright wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Tinkl misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Tim Wright has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Billy Tinkl.
Tinkl fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Tim Wright seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Tinkl takes the fight into the clinch.
Tinkl tries a knee to the head but Wright blocks it.
Tinkl has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

A frustrated look appears on Tinkl's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Wright can't find room to land a body shot as Tinkl controls the action.
Tinkl fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Tinkl tries to score a body lock takedown but Wright shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Wright with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Tinkl dodges an elbow strike from Wright.
With the fighters up against the cage, Wright throws an elbow but misses.
Tinkl taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Tinkl has Wright pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Wright manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Tinkl tries to stall but Wright uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Wright pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Wright dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Wright scores with a crisp jab that stopped Tinkl in his tracks.
The crowd cheers as Wright lands an impressive looking overhand right. Tinkl doesn't seem phased though.
Nice takedown defense from Wright. No joy for Tinkl on that attempt.
Wright swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Wright stalks Tinkl and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Tinkl's face. Tinkl staggers backwards, shaken.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Wright digs a good hook to Tinkl's body.
Wright throws a hook to the side of Tinkl's head but Tinkl sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Wright lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Tinkl backs up against the cage.

Tinkl fails with a takedown attempt.
Tinkl is still on wobbly legs! Can Wright finish him?
Tinkl misses with a takedown attempt - Wright sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Wright lands with a big left! Tinkl is wobbled badly! Wright comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Tinkl to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Tim Wright!
