The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cuevas moves into the clinch.

Cuevas fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Lampbert looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Lampbert throws a nice looking combination but Cuevas bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Cuevas drops Lampbert onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Lampbert is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cuevas creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Lampbert's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Lampbert drops to his knees and Cuevas pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
