Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nathan Rook (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Romano Redz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Rook might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Rocks/Primal Scream. Nathan Rook is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nathan Rook!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Romano Redz!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Danga de danga de dang - Rook scores with a four punch combination!
Rook swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Redz works Rook's body with a nice hook.
Rook throws a hook to the side of Redz's head but Redz sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Redz tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rook was well out of range. Poor timing from Redz.
Rook swings for the body but Redz moves out of range.
Redz unleashes a big counter combination but Rook bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Rook swings widly with a right hand
and Redz counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Rook throws a looping overhand right but Redz ducks down to avoid it.
Rook steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Redz.
Rook jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Redz slips under a jab from Rook.
Rook throws a lazy right hand but Redz sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Redz defending well as Rook loads up on a big left hand.
Rook misses with a straight right.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Redz ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Redz uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Rook.
As Rook backs off Redz throws a huge counter combo but Rook manages to avoid it all.
Redz just misses with a punch to the body.
Redz moves out of range of the strikes.
Redz takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Rook misses with a right hand
and Redz connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Rook tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Redz was well out of range. Poor timing from Rook.
Redz appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Rook throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Nice straight punches there by Rook. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Rook.

Redz throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Rook tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Redz is in Rook's guard.
Rook seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

Redz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rook swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Redz postures up in Rook's guard and throws a big left but Rook blocks it.
Rook trying to keep a closed guard but Redz is proving a slippery customer.
Redz stops Rook from standing up.
Redz preventing the sweep.
Rook avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Redz missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Rook misses with a right hand
and Redz cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Rook throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Redz counters with a straight right hand.
Rook is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Redz blocks a jab.
A nice side step and Redz releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
The crowd cheers as Redz lands an impressive looking overhand right. Rook doesn't seem phased though.

Redz lands a nice hook to Rook's body. Rook takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Redz bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Redz scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

After winning the bout, Romano Redz thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
