Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Samuele Oren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ty Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Wesley Smith and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Thompson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Oren is controlling Thompson's trapped leg to prevent Thompson from advancing to side control.
It looks like Thompson is going to stand back up.

Thompson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Oren manages to get himself to full guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Thompson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Oren escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Thompson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
