PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dave Turbo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Winner Four (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Dave Turbo has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Dave Turbo seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Four takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Four gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Turbo throws a combination. Four tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Four keeps the fight on the outside.
Turbo misses with a kick to the body.
Turbo misses with a double jab.
Turbo throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Four counters by moving into the clinch.
Four tries to pull guard but Turbo forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Four content to slow the pace in the clinch.

A looping hook to the body misses from Turbo. Four does a little dance to reset his feet.
Turbo tries to clinch there but Four circles away.
Four throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Turbo's waist but Turbo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Four off to one side.
Dave Turbo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Winner Four.
Turbo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Turbo stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Turbo wants it to stay on the feet.

Four breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Turbo wants to clinch up but Four keeps it at a distance.

Winner Four seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Turbo counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Four thinking.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Horrible takedown attempt by Four or perhaps it was just good defense by Turbo, which made it look bad.

It looked like Turbo was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
