Jackson's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Machine Head -Old. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jackson clinches up against the cage.
Jackson slowing the pace effectively.

Jackson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Jarnett looks to throw a body kick

and Jackson counters by clinching up.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Jarnett is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Jackson pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Jackson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Jackson manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Jarnett on his heels. He'll look to pass Jarnett's guard now, I'm sure.
Jackson throws a big elbow that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jackson trying to control the position from guard on top but Jarnett is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Jackson trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Jackson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jarnett swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Jarnett utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Jackson's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Jackson gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Jackson connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

It looks like Bosh Jarnett has been cut.
Jackson connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Jarnett momentarily.

Jackson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Jackson lands in his opponent's guard.
Our spies down at at Fokai Academy inform us that Jarnett has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?
Jackson wanted to stand there but Jarnett had control of the position.
Jackson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jackson postures up and lands a big shot to Jarnett's brow.
Jackson has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Jarnett has momentary wrist control but Jackson slips an elbow through the middle.
Jackson with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Jarnett swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Jackson counters with a crisp right hand that drops Jarnett! Jackson lets Jarnett back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jarnett wants to slow Jackson down by chopping away at his legs.
A quick step to the side and Jackson tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Jackson cracks Jarnett with a hook to the temple - Jarnett is on wobbly legs here! Jackson swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Jarnett falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Jackson wins by TKO!

Cornelius Jackson really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Voodoo Nutrition logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
