Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jai Miles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Jace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Chad Campbell and Steve Montenegro.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jace slips under a jab.
Jace looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Jace holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Miles changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Jace fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Miles - that will leave a mark!
Miles really is a fat lump.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jace throws out a loose jab but Miles uses good head movement to avoid it.
Miles misses with a double jab

and Jace counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Miles might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Jace stands up over Miles, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Jace postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Jace wants to pass the guard but Miles is keeping the position.
Jace working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jace wants to control from the top but Miles keeps moving.
Jace sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Miles's guard.
Miles has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Jace is working away from the top position though.
Jace wants to pass to mount but Miles is defending the position.

Jace passes the guard and advances to mount!
Jace trying to control but Miles is having none of it.
Jace lands a big shot there that rocks Miles but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Miles taking shots to the head.
Miles is wriggling around trying to escape.
Jace landing strikes from the mount and Miles is in trouble!

Jace is working for a guillotine from mount but Miles frees his head quite easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Miles tries to hold on but Jace postures up.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Miles is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Jace scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Miles?

It looks like Jai Miles has been cut.
Jace tries to control but Miles wriggling away.
Jace lands a big elbow.

Miles is rocked!
Miles sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Miles knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jace on the ground.
Jace seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Oh Miles is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Jace scores with a big shot! Miles's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Miles! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
