Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ivan Morales!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Wesley Smith and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morales avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
McBride tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Horrible takedown by McBride or perhaps it was just good defense by Morales which made him look bad.
Morales uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by McBride.
Morales throws a right hand that McBride ducks under and follows up with a left that McBride also avoids with ease.
McBride fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Morales with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Morales fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
McBride wants to clinch up but Morales keeps it at a distance.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Morales is working McBride over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

McBride cracks Morales with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
McBride fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

McBride goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Morales is on top in guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
McBride bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Morales's guard.
McBride trying to control the position from guard on top but Morales is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
McBride forces his way into half guard.
McBride wants to lay and pray for a moment but Morales keeps working.

McBride is working for a submission of some sort.

McBride is looking to advance position but Morales won't allow it.
Morales tries to kick McBride off but McBride keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

McBride stands up out of the half guard.

McBride changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Morales looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
McBride creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Morales sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Morales wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

McBride working away.
Morales is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but McBride has just dragged him back down to the mat.
McBride wants to control but Morales is keeping him busy.
McBride works to advance to full mount. Morales defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
McBride takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
McBride scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Morales?
Morales tries to buck McBride off but he can't manage it.

And that's the end of the fight!
Jim McBride showed his dominance in that final round.
