Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yuri Leonov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyke Mitchell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Leonov kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Percival - Husičky. Mitchell has chosen Ride The Lightning as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Mitchell felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Tyke Mitchell is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Mitchell tries to lock up and control but Leonov gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Leonov is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Mitchell can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Yuri Leonov.
I think Mitchell has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
