Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roosevelt Coleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Niko Alzate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alzate keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Coleman.
Coleman scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

It looks like Niko Alzate has been cut.
Alzate throws out a powerful jab.
Coleman misses with a kick to the body.
Good work by Alzate as he checks the leg kick.
Coleman tests Alzate's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Alzate throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
As Alzate backs away, Coleman returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Alzate moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Alzate has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Coleman moves out of range as Alzate throws a body kick.
Alzate fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Coleman has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Alzate wants to slow Coleman down by chopping away at his legs.
A solid leg kick lands there for Alzate.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Coleman throws the kick towards the body but Alzate avoids it.
Coleman throws a nice inside leg kick.

Alzate closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Alzate lands in his opponent's guard.
Coleman pulls Alzate in close to his closed guard and prevents Alzate from doing any damage or advancing position.

Alzate working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Alzate postures up in Coleman's guard and throws a big left but Coleman blocks it.
Alzate stopping the sweep attempt from Coleman.
Alzate trying to control the position from guard on top but Coleman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Coleman continues to stall.

Alzate drops back looking for a leg! Coleman is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Coleman manages to kick Alzate off! Alzate jumps back into Coleman's guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Coleman bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Alzate's guard.

Alzate had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Coleman defends it easily.

Alzate is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Alzate has his foot on Coleman's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Coleman works his way back into a safe position though.

Alzate looking for a triangle here. Coleman is fighting it but it looks tight! Alzate pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Coleman is tapping out - this one is all over!
