The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hill gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Pitts has Hill pressed against the cage, preventing Hill from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hill has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Hill has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Pitts regains guard immediately.
Hill slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Pitts.

Hill stands up and beckons Pitts to join him on the feet.

Oooooh!!! Hill has knocked Pitts down with a huge combo! Hill steps away and waves a wobbly Pitts back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Cristobal Pitts has been cut.
Pitts drops his hands for a split second and Hill immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Pitts face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Hill follows up with a right hand that knocks Pitts into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
