Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Risto Riekko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and BJ Gaylord (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riekko connects with a leg kick. Gaylord looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Riekko scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Riekko definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Riekko throws a shot from downtown. Gaylord moves away and avoids it.
Gaylord takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Gaylord has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Gaylord fails to land with a series of punches.
Gaylord bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Riekko's head backwards.
Riekko walks into a stiff left hand from Gaylord.
Riekko throws an overhand right that lands on Gaylord's shoulder, as Gaylord tries to avoid the shot.
Riekko misses with a low kick.
Gaylord has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Riekko.
Gaylord getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Gaylord lands with a good body shot.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gaylord moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

It looks like Risto Riekko has been cut.
Riekko takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Gaylord slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Riekko takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Gaylord misses with a low kick.
It looked like Riekko wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Riekko walks into a left hand.

Riekko is rocked!
Are you kidding me?! Gaylord ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Riekko clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
