Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Carmine Ashley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chen Long (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Long's choice of entrance music: Boss Mode . Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Alan Glass and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Long scores with a takedown into Ashley's guard.
Ashley wants to stand and escape but Long is having none of it.
Ashley trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Long trying to control the position from guard on top but Ashley is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Ashley wants to sweep but no luck.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ashley wants to get back to his feet but Long is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Ashley knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Long on the ground.
Ashley has Long pulled in close to control his posture.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Long pushes down on Ashley's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Long is trying to control. Ashley wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Long is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Ashley is just riding it out for now. Long eventually gives up the hold.
Long trying to control the action but Ashley is working from the bottom.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Ashley has a takedown stuffed.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Long crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Ashley - the referee stops the clock and Long gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Ashley. Long manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Long gets a double leg takedown into Ashley's guard.
Ashley is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Long advances to half guard.
Long works his foot free and advances to mount.
Ashley wants to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Ashley tries to reverse the position but Long maintains control.
Ashley is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Ashley is looking to get to half guard.
Long looking to control but Ashley is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Ashley tries to improve his position but instead Long has taken his back!
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Long's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Long throwing sloppy strikes.
Long controlling well, preventing Ashley from escaping the position.
Long has got one arm under Ashley's chin. This could be trouble... Ashley trying to control the other hand but Long gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Ashley has tapped out! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Chen Long!
After winning the bout, Chen Long thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
