Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Seen Kyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Force (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nick Force will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Seen Kyle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Nick Force!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Michael Johnstone and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Force throws a head kick but Kyle moves out of range.
Force pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Kyle fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Force sprawls well initially but Kyle persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Force has eaten all the pies!

Kyle seems to be working for a kimura but Force defends the submission attempt.
Force wants to control but Kyle is keeping busy.

Kyle wants to control but Force is keeping him busy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kyle works his way into full mount!

Kyle is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Force is surviving well by controlling Kyle's body position as best he can.

Kyle is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Force is just riding it out for now. Kyle eventually gives up the hold.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Force misses with some strikes from the bottom.

Kyle seems to be working for a kimura but Force defends the submission attempt.
Force is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Kyle wants to work for an arm triangle but Force is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Force is not content to let Kyle control the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Kyle's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Kyle shoots for a takedown but Force saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Force tries to counter by closing the distance.
Kyle walks into a jab.
Some wild striking there from Force.
A nice combination there by Force.

Kyle drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Kyle drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kyle jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kyle's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Kyle is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Kyle will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Force is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Kyle tries to free his leg and advance position but Force is retaining full guard.
Kyle engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Force wants to stand but Kyle is controlling the position.
Kyle is stalling in the full guard.
Kyle forces his way into half guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Kyle is trying to control. Force wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Kyle is looking for a kimura but Force is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Kyle to get the leverage.

Force is staying active underneath Kyle, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Force moves into full guard.
Force is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Seen Kyle overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Force slaps away a takedown attempt from Kyle, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Force lands a head shot.
Force tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kyle tries to counter with a takedown but Force is quick to defend against it.
Force lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kyle circles away quickly and effectively.
Force displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kyle.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Seen Kyle. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Kyle is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Force doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Kyle.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Kyle in particular looking to stall.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nick Force showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Force.
A head kick misses from Force.
Kyle shoots in and drives through. Force sprawls well.

Kyle shoots in and gets a takedown into Force's guard.
Force bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kyle's guard.

Kyle has Force pulled in close to control his posture.
Force wants to control from the top but Kyle keeps moving.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Force looking to pass the guard.
Kyle tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Kyle is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Kyle is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Kyle tries to land a sweep but no joy.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Kyle holds on and takes a little breather.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Kyle looking to hit a scissor sweep but Force is one step ahead there.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Kyle doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Force counters with a right hand to the body.
Force throws a leg kick but Kyle checks it.
Force misses with a jab, cross combination.
Force tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Kyle looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Force!

Force is trying to get back to half guard.

Kyle tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Force can't do much from the bottom here.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

I would just about give that final round to Nick Force.
I think Force has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
