Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vladimir Mikhail (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tabor Miklos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tabor Miklos!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Illya Tyunina and Dmitry Maklakov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miklos moves in looking to clinch but Mikhail pushes him off.
Mikhail shoots for a double leg takedown but Miklos sprawls well. He's pushed Mikhail's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Mikhail scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Mikhail tries to score with some ground and pound. Miklos controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Miklos stops Mikhail from passing to mount.

Mikhail is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Miklos has escaped the position, nice work there.

Mikhail wants to stand but Miklos is controlling his arm.
Mikhail tries to move into full mount but can't pass Miklos's legs.
Mikhail sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Miklos is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Mikhail drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Miklos is not content to let Mikhail control the position.
Miklos sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Miklos keeps control of the position for the meantime.
Mikhail is looking to take a break and control but Miklos is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Miklos can do anything to dispel that myth.

Mikhail drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Miklos manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Mikhail has Miklos in his guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Vladimir Mikhail will probably get the nod.
That's time! Mikhail's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Miklos has taken the fight to the clinch.
Mikhail tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Miklos smiles and moves away.
Miklos keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Miklos connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Mikhail momentarily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mikhail tries to keep at a distance but Miklos has taken the fight into the clinch.

Mikhail manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Mikhail has his foot on Miklos's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Miklos works his way back into a safe position though.

Mikhail tries to buck Miklos off but Miklos is having none of it.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Mikhail is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Miklos takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Despite being in the dominant position, Tabor Miklos just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Mikhail fails with the takedown.

Tabor Miklos showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Mikhail is fighting to break Miklos's control of his arms but Miklos is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Miklos is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Tabor Miklos comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Miklos has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
