Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ronnie Cantu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chen Long (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Long is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Boss Mode . Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cantu fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Long sprawls well initially but Cantu persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Cantu thows a huge punch but Long dodges it nicely.
Cantu throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Cantu really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

A frustrated look appears on Cantu's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Long has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Cantu avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Long will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Long is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Cantu is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Cantu has escaped and now he's on top!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Long holds on and takes a little breather.
Cantu chips away with some ground and pound.
Long preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Long working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Cantu doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Cantu manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
