The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shepherd rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dalby moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Dalby is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Shepherd .
Shepherd wants to clinch up but Dalby keeps it at a distance.
Shepherd lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Shepherd misses with a two punch combination.
Shepherd scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

Dalby moves into the clinch successfully.

Shepherd tries to break free but Dalby pushes him back against the cage.
Dalby lands a damaging elbow.
Shepherd wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Dalby swings wildly with an uppercut but Shepherd uses good head movement to avoid it.
Dalby is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.

Shepherd wants to take the fight to the mat but Dalby manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Dalby has Shepherd pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Shepherd is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Dalby - that's hurt Shepherd badly! Oh, another knee lands and Shepherd is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Shepherd doesn't seem to be complaining.
