Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pepe Rojas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thiago Puto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Puto gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Puto looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rojas won't allow Puto to get back to his feet.
Rojas trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Rojas wants to control from the top but Puto keeps moving.
Puto looking for a sweep. Not yet Puto, not yet.
Puto preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Rojas tries to free his leg and advance position but Puto is retaining full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Puto misses with a low kick.
Rojas lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

and Rojas counters with a single leg into guard. Puto didn't expect that.

Rojas tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Rojas is working to tighten is grip on Puto's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Puto has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Rojas is really squeezing tight and eventually Puto passes out! Rojas breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
